Sherry L. (Williams) White has been the leading professional for aftercare services since 1984. She is currently working as an indepent consultant with Hopeful Transitions a subsidiary or The Quail Group a Healthcare consulting corporation in Crestwood KY. She was the founder and President of New Leaf Resources which is a division of Sherry Williams Enterprises, Inc. until December of 2013. Sherry was president and founder of Accord, Inc which closed in 2004. She started Hopeful Transitions to provide expanded services and product offering which included marketing materials for funeral directors, healthcare organizations, corporations, churches and other nonprofit agencies that work directly with grieving individuals.
In addition to her own business experience, she is a Registered Nurse by trade and a specialist in grief management. She is a writer and contributing author of a wide variety of grief literature including brochures and books. She is a well known speaker in the funeral service industry as well as churches, medical organizations and non-profit support agencies. Her work with the firefighters, the parents, spouses and fallen firefighters of 911 as well as the staff of the NYC Fire Departments’ Headquarters has added to her expertise in the area of traumatic death.
Sherry works with professional organizations and businesses to identify weaknesses in their grief outreach services and or benefits programs. She will work with your organization to develop and implement a plan that will fill the gaps in your bereavement services, meet the needs of the individuals served and maximize your marketing and public relations programming.
